Music

Music has been a large part of my life since I was very young. I took piano lessons when I was in grade school but I never really enjoyed it. It wasn't until I was in high school and discovered the guitar that my real passion began. In the beginning, like everyone else, I was never really any good at guitar. That changed once I discovered Tom Hess in 2008. He was a good friend and mentor and through his teaching, I was able to reach all of my musical goals and beyond. I attended many of his live events in Chicago and made lasting friendships with other guitar players from around the world.

I have been playing guitar for over 30 years now. I have been a member of praise & worship bands since as early as 2003. On December 10, 2011, our church's praise & worship team hosted a local concert in Newport, RI with Hillsong artist Mariam Webster. This was an excellent experience for everyone involved and we had a full theater that night. Below are some photos from that evening.
